WHO WE ARE The Homestead is a safe, residential transitional care program for women 18 years & older who are survivors of the sex trafficking industry and have been through a measure of their healing and recovery. Homestead Ministries provides a network of professional holistic services and support for each survivor. Homesteaders also enroll in school or participate in a job apprenticeship, continue with support and recovery work, and begin to move from being under a 100% supervisory program to 100% independence, integrating back into mainstream society in a productive and life-giving way.
OUR MISSION Reaching & teaching adult female survivors of sex trafficking to become more fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. It is within this vital relationship that true healing is possible from the inside out!
FOUNDING PRINCIPLES The Homestead offers a voluntary, long-term, faith-based transitory care program based on Christian principles of integrity, safety, love, and health. The essence of Homestead is to bring people together, in cooperation and partnership, God’s people and the needed professional services, BOTH being indispensable agents in the healing and recovery process of a life ravaged by human sex trafficking.
