Angie Snowden
Support Group Leader, Manhattan
Angie has been involved with Homestead Ministries since 2012. She began with volunteering and mentoring. Soon her love of women’s ministry poured over into the Homestead, and she joined the staff. She held several different roles during the four years she remained on staff. She now leads Homestead’s support group and is part of the team that screens new applicants.
Angie obtained a master’s degree in Guidance Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Oklahoma University. While her husband Jonathan (retired Lt. Col. USAF), was active duty, they lived in numerous places where Angie was a full-time mom doing part-time ministry. They now reside in Manhattan, Kansas where Angie is working on new writing projects, leading Grief and Hope support groups, working with survivors of sex trafficking at the Homestead, and teaching Bible studies at Westview Community Church. Angie is the author of Grief and Hope: A True Story of God’s Sufficient Grace and That Was a Very Sad Day: A Grief and Hope Book for Children. She and Jonathan enjoy spending time with their adult children and traveling to see more of God’s beautiful world.
