Claudia Hobson is our Life Skills Coordinator. She has mentored Homesteaders since Homestead opened in 2012; she and Leon, her husband, have received furniture/household donations for Homestead Ministries for many years. They have helped our graduates get set up in their own place after graduation, and they have also opened their home as a Homestead Plus site for a couple of our graduates! Claudia does Bible studies with many of our graduates on an ongoing basis, and she and Leon have, on more than one occasion, taken several of our Homestead graduates on vacation with them each summer!
Claudia and Leon have lived in the Manhattan area for about 30 years, have 3 grown kids and 1 daughter-in-law. Some of Claudia's interests are flower gardening, frontier camping, cooking, and entertaining.
